Source Monitor Definitions

Source monitor definitions are defined in XML files, one per file. One sample source monitor definition is supplied in the Content Store starter pack: contrib/starter-pack/source-monitor/sourcemonitor.xml. The source monitor it defines is not much use, since it references the default search filter definition main, and therefore doesn't do anything different from the ordinary CUE search panel. You can however, use it as a starting point for your own source monitor definitions.

To make your own source monitor:

First create a custom search filter on which to base your source monitor (see Custom Search Filter Definitions).
Copy contrib/starter-pack/source-monitor/sourcemonitor.xml to a new file.
Make the required changes to the copied file (see below).
Upload the modified file to the Content Store as described in Upload a Resource.
